About CCDM

The Connecticut Conference of Democratic Mayors is an organization dedicated to helping elect Democratic Mayors and First Selectmen throughout the State of Connecticut. CCDM also serves as a policy and development organization to help Democratic municipal leaders share and implement innovative and progressive policy solutions to solve challenges we face in local government.

CCDM was founded in 2015, and we were blown away by the reception we received. Soon after its launch, CCDM supported 2015 municipal campaigns and helped protect Democratic Mayors.

CCDM is led by its Chair Middletown Mayor Dan Drew, Vice Chair Norwich Mayor Deb Hinchey, and its executive board; New Haven Mayor Toni Harp, East Hartford Mayor Marcia Leclerc, Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau, and Stamford Mayor David Martin.

Every community should have the benefit of leaders dedicated to Democratic ideals, so we hope you will join us in our effort to make all of Connecticut’s cities and towns blue!
